What Changes are Anticipated for the 2014 Honda CR-V?
The 2014 Honda CR-V could receive a modest mid-cycle update two years after its most recent redesign to help maintain marketplace interest in the vehicle and keep it in step with other compact crossovers in what is a competitive market segment.
Honda is notoriously tight-lipped with regard to future models, so we can’t say for sure, but don’t expect major styling changes even with a model-year 2014 CR-V update. We could see a few exterior tweaks, particularly with regard to the front- and rear-end treatments, where we might see new lower fascias, revised headlamps and taillights and perhaps a more-aggressive looking front grille.
Inside, Honda is likely to answer its critics by revamping the 2014 CR-V’s interior to include the use of higher-quality materials on the dashboard, doors, and center console to give it a richer look and feel. Switches and gauges might be revamped, and the vehicle could receive revised seats as well.
Mechanical changes may be more pronounced, however (see below).
